The Kestrel Evoke didn't break the mold for carbon bikes, it made the mold. Nearly three decades ago Kestrel invented the molded carbon fiber bike. The all-carbon Evoke road bike is a continuation of their expertise in carbon fiber monocoque design.

The Kestrel Evoke starts with a molded, one-piece all carbon fiber frameset with carbon rear triangle and fork. The multi-shaped top tube, down tube, carbon fiber seatstays and chainstays are optimized for comfortable ride quality and performance oriented stiffness. Good roads or bad, flat terrain or brutal switchbacks, the Kestrel Evoke frameset is tuned for a comfortable, responsive ride.

True to Kestrel’s legacy of innovation and excellence in carbon fiber design the Evoke uses size-specific lay-up. Each frame size from smallest to largest is ride-tuned with the optimal lay-up to insure best ride quality and stiffness. The size 47cm frame is as comfortable as the 62cm. The 62cm has the same excellent bottom bracket stiffness as the 47cm frame size. Each frame size is ride-tuned with different composite configuration and lay-up to insure optimal ride quality, comfort and frame stiffness.

The Kestrel Evoke uses a pure Shimano 105 component group. There are no substitutions or down-specs. This is a full Shimano 105 bike with Shimano 105 crankset and chainrings for dependable front shifting performance. Even the brake calipers are genuine Shimano 105. The cockpit and seatpost are industry leading Profile Design. The drop bars are a constant taper clamp section enabling the secure, easy use of bolt-on aerobars. Even the saddle is a versatile 29.5 cm long version inspired by the Fizik Arione style saddle. This additional saddle length and flat profile provide good comfort throughout a range of riding postures and effective seat tube angles.

Geometry on the Kestrel Evoke trends toward a slightly steeper seat tube angle making this road bike highly versatile and more aerobar friendly than traditional parallel 73 degree road bikes, especially in the moderate to small frame sizes. This is an excellent first time high performance road bike that can do double duty as a bike with aerobars for occasional multisport use.
