2009 Kestrel Talon SL Road Bike

2009 Kestrel Talon SL Road Bike:
The Kestrel Talon series is by far the most versatile bike on the market. Race a Kestrel Talon on the roads and you'll feel the excellent power transfer coming from the redesigned bottom bracket. Sprint to the line and you'll notice the larger headtube crown which stiffens the front end and eliminates wasted flex. Compete in a triathlon and you'll be amazed how comfortable and responsive the ride is throughout the entire event. A race-ready bike that can be used for both triathlon and road racing!
The Kestrel Talon continues to be refined, and this year Kestrel has made some significant improvements. They channeled the headtube to improve aerodynamics, in addition to increasing the crown to stiffen the front end. Kestrel also improved the downtube and bottom bracket junction, which improves the stiffness and ride quality tremendously. The rear triangle uses 700K unidirectional carbon fiber which keeps the road vibrations to a minimum and improves aerodynamics as well. The final result? A lighter, faster bike that is also 20% stiffer than its predecessor.
